She Just Sits in a Bankers Box~

I had intended to blog about the Anthony case and its recent developments today, but little Caylee who still, a month after her remains were recovered, sits in a funeral home in a banker’s box. My spiritual beliefs, of course, dictate that her spirit and soul have been in a much better place since mid June. It is the dignity, or lack thereof, of her memory that bothers me so deeply.
I clearly understand the need for the second autopsy of the defense, but from what I have read, after the second was completed, there was absolutely no reason that these remains could not have been put to “rest”. Now the prosecution and defense will argue over whether this child’s remains can be cremated or not as many times remains have been exhumed for further forensic study if the case warrants it, and with them cremated, that will never be possible.
I am not buying the whole possible grave robber bit that the defense is hawking. While of course it is possible, there are obvious courses of action to take to secure the burial site of this little girl. I feel that the defense simply wants to make sure that the remains could no longer be forensically evaluated.
It is just one more glaring example of how this tiny child’s best interest was never put first from anyone, and it makes my heart weep.
Until this child’s remains have been honored, I have a hard time delving into the convolution surrounding this case that grows in leaps and bounds on a daily basis. Everybody and their “brother” (including brother Lee) is represented by counsel. I think the only ones that aren’t are Nancy Grace and Leonard Padilla! And I could even be wrong about them.
It is insane.
So while I am still following the case closely, I simply can’t write about it until someone gives this child’s memory the respect it deserves.

Outrageous behavior for a group of adults who, through much of this ordeal, claimed that it was all about Cayley.
Why did that suddenly stop as soon as a body was found?
I am sorry, I know there are all sorts of legal things going on, but if I were that baby’s grandmother ( forget the mother, she never had one to begin with, IMO) I would march over to that funeral home and demand those remains ASAP.
Then I would plant my butt in the nearest chair and I would wait. For however long it took to get them. I would raise a stink that would cause cadaver dogs to cower in the corner! That baby would NOT be alone.
The Anthony’s were indignantly vocal when it came to stepping up for their daughter, who wasn’t deserving. Their beloved granddaughter deserves as much now. Step up Anthony’s. That baby deserves an nth of the energy you put forth for that daughter of yours.
Obviously the defense wants any further evidence destroyed. With all the advances in dna recovery happening on a daily basis, they don’t want to take a chance of any new discoveries coming to light. Grave robbers? The only ones foolish enough to engage in such a thing would be the Anthony’s themselves. God help them! Sure what is left is a bunch of bones, but Caylee’s memory deserves to be afforded the dignity and respect she did not get in life. Perhaps she can finally get that in death. I too believe her spirit went on to a better place back in June. I also feel that in order for her to fully rest in peace, some sort of formal memorial service needs to be held.
I can only speak on what I have seen in cases like this. It seems of the people I’ve seen on TV, who have a lost loved one that has been involved in a crime, where the remains have been missing, ask for just one thing. They want to find those remains and seek closure by finding them an appropriate resting place. A bankers box would not be closure if it were my child or grandchild. Please find this girls earthly remains a suitable burial spot out of respect. Her spirit and soul in my opinion have been at peace for several months.
As I watched the news yesterday I was thinking about how much bad news we have recieved as of late and in the midsts of all that we still see glimpses of the positive things in life. 155 people safe and sound nothing less that a miracle as a US Airways jet safely landed in the Hudson River.
so the people who went on all the morning shows about “our precious granddaughter” really think this about her. How sad. I wish she would have been able to live her life with another family who actually cared for her and not just said that they did when people were watching.
I am glad the family stopped shilling for contributions to bury her. That was just so wrong.
This story is so sad. I think about Caylee’s bones just laying there all alone. I think about all those months that she just laid there all alone in the dirt. What a sweet child she was. Casey knew all along where Caylee was. I, being a mother, have a very hard time trying to understand why Casey just let Caylee rot in a plastic bag. Casey could have dug a hole, six feet deep, and placed Caylee in there. But no, Casey just threw Caylee off the side of the road, to rot. Caylee’s body just laid in water, for months.
The only peace I find, is knowing that Caylee is in a much better place. She is in heaven with other children. Caylee will never again, be abused by someone who should have loved her.
As far as Casey goes, I feel like the justice system, will do the right thing.
Yesterday on Nancy Grace, she aired a just released
“Ma and Pa Kettle Visit Baby Killer Casey in Jail”, video from August 14, 2008.
In an attempt to calm his loser daughter down as she’s about to blow because “ALL the emphasis is on Caylee, not on ME ME ME MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”, George shows the world just how totally screwed up his priorities are when he says to her:
“Look at it like this, Casey. You’re the C.E.O. of a corporation. And I work for you, your mom works for you, Lee works for you, the F.B.I. works for you, Jose works for you…we’re ALL trying to help…”
I couldn’t help but wonder if he’d watch this on television and see that the entire time he was declaring her “the C.E.O. of a corporation” his ‘loving’ daughter, handcuffed and on the other side of the wall, was ROLLING HER EYES and smirking at his IDIOT remark. THAT’S how much she thinks of you, Dad-ee-oh.
Every day that goes by without a proper funeral for Caylee, each night she lays there in the dark alone, every day mom and pop Anthony go back on their word to NOT “make conflicting statements”, every time Cindy calls Casey “sweetheart”, and every time George asks that spoiled INSANE mutant brat if she’s “had enough to eat” – I wonder if somehow Caylee was doomed from the beginning, never really had a chance to live her life. I think it’s possible that when George and Cindy realized the effect this precious child was having on Casey, their first ‘love’, maybe , unconsciously, subconsciously or not, they set the end of Caylee in motion. And Lee was used to help carry their ugly deed out.
You may think I’m nuts for thinking about this, but I have to wonder about two people who so obviously support their murdering daughter in light of THE FACTS before them, and would leave the body of their beloved grandchild to rot in the dark.
May you rest in peace and all our love, Caylee.
Moon, I don’t know where you got that picture from but it’s about the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever seen. You should e-mail it to Nancy Grace – it’s one thing to hear about this tragedy but to see it so graphically represented is just shocking. If that was my daughter, niece or hell even the cute neighbor kid down the block I’d be outside that morgue every day protesting until she got the decent burial she deserved.

I hear you and I second that vent!
Those recent tapes were something else and just goes to show how they have allowed her to manipulate them her entire live. I would have walked out of their pronto, but then again, I probably would not have been there in the first place, because if my kid had not been straight with me, and he had told the authorities all those lies, as much as it would have broken my heart, I certainly would have supported him until he told the truth.
Oh and speaking of eating, have you read little Miss Murderer’s commissary list? While her beautiful daughter’s remains, the daughter that she murdered, lay in a cardboard banker’s box in a cooled closet of a funeral home for weeks, Momma Murderer is ordering pop tarts, pork rinds, bottled water, chocolate, a transistor radio and headphones and freakin’ coco butter to keep her delicate skin soft a supple. All this from her moronic family and twisted Casey FANS that keep depositing money in her jail account.
It makes me sick!

It’s amazing how many nuts are out there in the world! People who can’t see their asses from their elbows. No matter how much evidence there is pointing directly at Casey, there will always be those who support her. One would wonder how in the world they could? Who in their right mind would send her money? Nothing short of sickening!
Listen to Casey speak about Caylee, study her body language. She was so jealous of her own daughter and the attention she got. What does Casey have over her parents? Their relationship with her goes beyond just supporting their child. Why are they handling her with kid gloves? What does she have on them? Has to be something. Put her in the general population!
I did not know, that people in jail, could get luxuries. That just doesn’t make any sense. They are in jail, not on vacation. How can that be allowed?

It is one of the rights that they give them as long as they have the money. At least at this security level.
I think Baez is putting the money in the account. Surely there are not citizens who want to see this monster, Casey, getting treats. Baez wants us to believe and the potential jury pool to believe she has supporters out here in reality-land.

Well, there are a number of reports from Orange County Jail that specifically say that private citizens, in addition to the Anthony family, continue to deposit to her commissary account there. At one point it was at like $400.00 or close to it.
I do not know what her balance is of this date, however.
She has some fans, believe it or not!
Casey has fans like, Scott Peterson and other jail birds. Birds of a feather, flock together. What person in their right mind would be a fan of Casey? Anyone that knows the facts of the case, knows Casey is guilty. I think even Jose Baez, George, Cindy and Lee, know that Casey is guilty. They just won’t admit it.
Why in the world can’t the defense just let this poor little angel be buried already ??? It’s been 7 months since her death and about 6 weeks since the remains were found … isn’t it time to bury her body so her soul can be at peace ??
#19 Patty Ann, you know what the sickest part is that on facebook there is a group called something like I wanna bang Casey Anthony and in it’s description is saying something like “we know she killed her kid but she’s a hot piece of ass”, WHY would anyone want that girl, to get some weird STD I suppose, SICK !!!

That defense is something else. To me it is almost like they are prolonging it for the drama of it all.
