I couldn’t help but snicker when I read that Kate wants her own clothing line, ala Jaqueline Smith (K-Mart?).
This is the woman who once claimed to have no skills whatsoever in choosing clothing for herself and left that sort of thing up to Jon?

I am not saying woman should always bend over and take it up the butt, BUT:
IF Jon cheated, he seems genuinely sorry.
Kate herself says she has treated him like a pile of turd for at least 10 years. She should assume she has some responsibility in pushing him to seek affection elsewhere.
IF she were at all interested in saving their marriage, for the sake of her children at least, she should be willing to take steps to overcome whatever anger she says she is holding onto, be an adult, and seek to repair the damage that they both have caused their relationship. If nothing else, she should get herself to a counselor, ASAP, to work on herself and the myriad flaws and mental problems she exhibits.
I get the feeling, she just doesn’t care and probably hasn’t cared about him other than the fact he was able to produce viable sperm for quite sometime.
As an adult, I am ashamed of their behavior.
As a parent, I am appalled at their behavior.
And as a woman of a certain age I want to say to her: Dipshit—it ain’t always greener on the other side of the fence.
Learn to love youself so you can love others. And be happy with what you have now, because one day, it may all be gone.

Wow…I just finished reading the US Weekly article….
I recently started volunteering at a non-profit that assists survivors of domestic violence (men and women), and while reading that article I kept seeing the red flags they taught us about: isolation from family and friends, verbal abuse, financial abuse, etc. Granted-that is the picture the writer wanted to paint.

Debate on whether Jon can get out of show contract.
I just read the “statement” from TLC stating that they only film 2 times a week for two hours and they don’t film in the kids bedrooms. Does anyone know which episode it was where Kate said they filmed 3-4 days a week? I wanted to possibly make a montage of “lies” that the Gosselins/TLC have purported.

Jon Gosselin spent Memorial Day minus Kate and the kids.
The same day the new season of their TLC show premiered, he was photographed drinking a beer with two ladies at Front Street Bar & Grill in Newburgh, NY, TMZ.com reports.
Where have Kate and the kids been?
Along with her bodyguard Steve Neild, she was spotted with most of their brood getting off a ferry on Bald Head Island, NC, Wednesday morning.
After Monday’s season five premiere – during which Kate and Jon admitted they may divorce — the two released the following statement: “As many couples do, we are navigating a very difficult time. Our current situation brings us together around the children and some times sets us apart. We keep our faith that we will make the right decisions for our family.”
The new issue of Us Weekly has even more details on Kate’s tight leash on Jon, and the long, strange private dynamic between the deteriorating couple.
“She used to give him only $5 to spend, and if he was out and needed more money, she would give him hell,” his former employer at Style Craft Corp, David Rothermel, tells Us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was just about to address this as I did stay up last night and watched Showbiz Tonight. I was gobsmacked at the lies TLC told them, and I called the Showbiz Tonight number. I would urge anyone reading this or who saw the show or the YouTube video to call and and set the records straight. It is amazing to me that TLC would out and out lie as some of the things they lied about are on the Gosselin show plain as day and/or have been said by the Gosselins themselves in numerous articles in magazines, particularly about filming and the crew.
TLC is as scummy as everyone else involved in this mess.
After watching all of the interviews/panels fraught with misinformation, I couldn’t let that bunch of TLC bullshit slip through. Loved Judy Kuriansky’s opening comment ‘first of all, get rid of that Gwen Stefani haircut…’

As a matter of fact, the night before last (Tuesday?), I happened to have the Duggar’s on. Michelle Duggar was talking about Scott, “our camera man” – she named him by last name, “Enlow” and they showed Scott. Same dude as at the KONpound!! Jen Stocks is no longer with KON. In one of the magazine articles, it stated that members of the crew left on “moral grounds.”
Forgot to add, “Jeff” is the new KON producer replacing Jen and he is the one now doing the “couch confessional” interviews.

Her third book, Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories, is due to hit stores Oct. 13, 2009, according to Amazon.com.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star is already the author of Multiple Bles8ings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and the recently released Eight Little Faces, for which she has recently traveled the nation to promote.
“Fans … won’t want to miss this inside look at one of America’s most famous close-knit families,” the back cover states.
In addition to offering nutritious recipes and tips on eating organically, Love Is in the Mix promises to teach readers “how to craft family traditions that create happy memories” and “how to feed a large family on a budget.” The book will include family photos and anecdotes about her twins and sextuplets.
According to the site, Kate will also offer insight into handling picky eaters, making lunchtime fun, planning meals for vacations, and making ordinary days “extra special.”
Although excerpts from the book have not yet been released, commenters have already begun slamming the star’s previously released recipes and claim she stole them “from product boxes and magazine articles.”
One person wrote that her recipe for the cereal treat Monkey Munch — which was mentioned on the TLC show — is the same as one on the Chex brand website and calls it “plagiarism.”
Other commenters were shocked that the woman who once said that “real cooks don’t need recipes” was qualified to write a cookbook. They wrote on Amazon.com that on the show, Kate does little to “no cooking, no meals, just snacks — crackers, yogurt, grapes, cukes and peppers in pita. The woman can’t cook.”
Still, with Kate’s previous two books reaching the New York Times Best Seller list, the book’s publishers are likely expecting similar success with Love Is in the Mix. In addition to her income from book sales, the newest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands today, reports that the Gosselins — who live in a $1.1 million house — earn approximately $50,000 to $75,000 per show.

What Can I Do?
My inbox is being flooded with emails asking, “What Can I do?” It’s so encouraging to know that our message is getting out there, and people are realizing that children in reality TV need laws to protect them.
Paul Petersen established the organization A Minor Consideration to support child stars and other child laborers through legislation, family education, and personal intervention and counseling for those in crisis. I’m in contact with Mr. Petersen and asked him where we go from here.
I wanted to share his response, and encourage everyone to join together. Let’s keep the momentum going in a positive direction, and help get these laws passed so that ALL children will have protection.

Kate Gosselin is the worst person in the world. Two months ago I actually wrote a post comparing her to Kim Jong Il, but then couldn’t figure out how to make a sports connection and deleted it. So I’m not Johnny Come Lately to the Kate Gosselin Hatewagon. I’m driving the sumbitch, and have been so since The Random Baby Momma got preggers. Let’s start at the start.
If you don’t have a baby, or a pregnant wife/girlfriend, or one who desparately wants to be pregnant, you have no idea who the fuck Kate Gosselin is. If you have or are any of the above, you know exactly who the fuck she is. As soon as your significant other becomes pregnant, your TV only picks up one channel and the DVR only records Jon and Kate Plus 8 and 18 Kids And Counting. Now the Baptist wife from 18 is crazy as shit, but she is very nice. Kate Plus 8 (and probably Minus Jon, the way things are going) is crazy and mean and a femo-nazi. Those of you who are in the “with child” category are nodding your heads sadly. She is Lucifer. She is a vag-strocity. She is Kyle’s Mom.
I’ve never rooted for marital infidelity before, but I don’t blame Jon at all if he is humping around with anyone who isn’t Kate. He can hump a college student, or dirty dance with two girls, or have relations with a goat. Whatever he needs to recover from the PTSD of being married to Kate, who by the way isn’t a fucking saint herself. The lesson is, never get married. Kate would actually have no real hand in ‘designing’ anything (other than maybe saying, yeah, that looks good thru an e-mail or something as worthless as that). Just like Multiple Blessings which she didn’t write, or her recent family photo album disguised as a book. About The View video. I just Googled The View, their site came up and so did the video about the Jane & Hate show. Whoopi was the only one who said anything that might stick with people who don’t know the situation. I tried to e-mail them to enlighten them that there are people who are fighting for these children but they don’t make it easy……I won’t give up, though.

Kate did sign on with Walmart and Health Tex to design a children’s clothing line. It’s a done deal and she gave away samples of an outfit to the audience at Rachel Ray. I wonder if that’s the clothing line they are referring to?

Well Zondervan seems to be holding on to her since PR just reported that “Love is in the Mix” (BWAHHAHAHAHAH) is still being released. I am surprised that Zondervan would keep her on, quite frankly, but I guess I should not be. Christian publisher or not, I guess it is, for everyone, all about the almighty buck before the Almightly God.
I also wanted to email The View regarding Elizabeth’s uninformed comments that nobody cared about the exploitation of the kids until Jon’s rumored affair broke. Elizabeth is always tooting her own horn about how much research she does before the shows, guess she missed the ball on this particular topic. And so is that stupid Carlos Diaz – that guy is a moron. (Sorry Gram 123) He just said that Paul Petersen is WAY OFF BASE. Paul just told Carlos that he is WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.
Carlos just stated that the parents are getting the money and that they will give the money to the kids. Paul states that their is no guarentee of this and there are no laws in PA regarding this. The rub regarding most state laws inre: children is the definition of what is an actor. The same clarifications that I asked of the PA Labor Board and the Governor’s office who never responded to me.
Carlos states that there is no way that they could not live without this money. THIS GUY IS CLUELESS. He says that the opportunities that they are afforded by this out weighs anything.
The shrink on the panel states that they are somewhere in between an actor and a non-actor but to think that they will not be affected by this is ludicrous.
Now Carlos is saying to take the kids off the show because everyone is watching due to the marriage imploding. But that is really the only reason to take them off the show. He says now that he is in Paul’s corner.

A couple people mentioned that the Greedslin’s website has been down. I tried it and got a message indicating, “bandwith limit exceeded.” I looked this up and it means that the bandwidth allowance that the web hosting service provides on a person’s current plan has been used up. It gets used up if the site receives more traffic than it can handle. Gee, I wonder why the Greedlin’s site has been flooded?!! And here’s a question: if KON is still taking that trip to Korea with those poor children, isn’t this a bad idea given that the political situation in North Korea is tense what with their missle testing? I am not faint of heart, but I would not take my kids there. They will be in South Korea, obviously, but I would be very uneasy about a trip there with eight young children. You never know what kind of stuff could occur – not to be fatalistic – I just would not chance it. Those kids are FAR too young for such a trip anyway. But then, it’s not about them – it’s about ratings.

I have not seen The View a great deal, but from what I have seen, I like Joy. I LOVE Whoopi, but have always loved her. Elizabeth makes my head explode. I don’t know the other black woman at all, and Barbara is an icon and for that reason alone, I respect her (I also happen to like her, though I think in these latter years she has lost some of her edge).

This show doesn’t have much longer. TLC is taking a HUGE hit right now and everyone knows that’s bad business. Kate will be flushed down the toilet along with Baby Mamma and Mr. Buzzy. It’s just a matter of time.
As much as I want to believe this will happen, I’m not too sure that’s going to be the case. I heard – I think on a tabloid show last night, that TLC had recently upped their order for number of shows for this season to 40 (from a much smaller original plan – according to this commentator). But, we know TLC isn’t the most truthful about their practices, though. Anyway, I have a feeling that we’re going to see Jon fade from the screen as the season goes on and that it’s gonna end up a show with Kate alone with the kids next season. She has no intention of stopping this show unless someone forces her to and as long as TLC can make money on the show it will go on.
By the way, did anyone else notice that the pic of Kate with the kids in NC included TWO bodyguards, a college age helper, plus who knows how many others. My first thoughts after hearing where she’d gone was that she was ‘making more memories’ and in a way reliving a bit of the holiday memories from last year in NC. How sad that it’s just her, the kids, and paid help when they could be surrounded by family and friends — if she hadn’t slammed the door to everyone. IMO, she’s being defiant and is saying to the world and trying to convince everyone (and herself) that nothing is wrong with Mr. Neild being her constant companion. Yes, a lot of Musers are reporting have this issue. I am speculating that it is a glitch. Perhaps the system there is getting slammed? I don’t know if GWoP has been talking about The View, but they have a hell of a lot of posters/readers there so if they are, perhaps the system has too many trying to hit it at the same time.
I left a comment at the View earlier today (an e-mailed comment, not my usual “giving-Elisabeth-the-finger-through-the-TV-screen” comment), and it went through without any trouble. Hmmm…

As for KON visiting Korea – I can’t even think about that, and hopefully it will never happen. I am 100% Korean (born and raised in the US) and the thought of KON adopting a Korean baby and/or tainting the beauty of Korea by being there makes me sick. And you are right, it is too unstable right now, why take any risk (not that TLC or KON would care anyway, anything for ratings, right?!)
Jon is a disgrace – he does not embody ANY of those ideals that Koreans embrace : education, hard work, family, respect. K8 won’t be able to handle a culture so vastly different than her own – she is simply too ignorant.

I haven’t watched the show in a very long time. Mostly I read the recaps on various sites. I did however watch it Monday night. So many things to comment on but the one thing I did notice is that Jon looks like He Wants Out. Out of the show but mostly out of the marriage. His comment “i’m here for my kids” kind of said it all to me. Now that I have seen the beginning of what I hope is the end there is no need to watch again. I’ll read the articles and recaps.

I read all the scans over at preesi’s site and it was in one of the articles. I also read a comment a few weeks ago at GWoP from a member of that church that suggested the same thing.
Regarding the tups and preschool, I think they may attend preschool at the twins country day school….even though they made it appear that the tups attend at the church but I am not 100% sure. The school offers programs from pre-k to 12.

I read on another forum that Kate and “another guy” (prob Mr. Gray) and only one of the kids were spotted in San Diego “recently”. The post was dated mid-May (18th?) so I assume that the San Diego/Mady’s Trip was filmed sometime late April or early May. A couple of people posted about how they heard about the sighting on San Diego radio.

I apologize if I am repeating info … I just saw this on the WGAL website (Lancaster PA news channel):
The Pennsylvania Department of Labor said that it is looking into whether the hit reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ is complying with child labor laws.
News 8 reporter Jim Sinkovitz spoke to a Department of Labor official who said a complaint had been made and that it is being investigated. The official would not say who made the complaint, but did point out that the agency must investigate any complaint that is filed.

Anyone been on TLC lately? When I click on Kate’s Birthday Pictures link I get this message:
A username and password are being requested by http://tlc.stg.discovery.com. The site says: “WARNING: To protect the system from unauthorized use and to ensure that the system is functioning properly, all activities are monitored and recorded.…”
There are also a few very interesting comments on her blog now. Have they stopped monitoring it?

The Maui vacation alone was worth over $50,000- airfare, hotel , private chartered boat, food, reception. Maui is the most expensive of the Hawaiian islands, and the Wailea area on Maui is the most expensive section of Maui. * rolling eyes*

This $100,000 figure they are throwing out is beyond ridiculous! This is mere petty cash! If you add up ALL the vacations alone (Maui, California, Disney World, North Carolina, Memphis) with FIRST CLASS AIRFARE for 10 people, first class hotel accomodations, meals, outings, and other diversions, we are probably looking at a million bucks already! This does not include the “in-kind” freebies like clothes, plastic surgery, hair plugs, teeth whitening, household supplies, food, etc., add on another close to $500,000 to $1 million. I wish the IRS would do a full audit of these scammers.

I just tried it and I got the username and password request, too. I suspect that TLC is being bombarded with what they perceive as “hate mail.” I guess only the sheeple are allowed to see Take’s birthday pics. BM must be peeing in her unnawears in delight.
