Happy 4th to everyone. Hope your day is filled with love, joy and blessings.
We are awaiting our 3rd grandchilds birth today. This will be our third blessing. Two girls and one boy.
Any minute now, she will come into this wonderful world of ours. Mommie is doing fine, but getting impatient. Her contractions started early this morning around 1:00 AM. It is now 12:15 Indiana time. She is 32 and this is her first child, so needless to say, she is scared.
The babys name is Olivia Rose and I can’t wait to see her.

Will keep you all informed.

Joanna, OMG, I had seen this about 5-6 wks. ago and fell in love w/it also! I sent it to everyone I knew. Thanks for posting it again, so I can watch it another 10 times! I felt/feel the same way you do…it just makes me smile and makes me happy! I saw another one also, but I’m gonna have to search for it.

Preesi, I believe it’s her permanent home, not a vacay home. Why would it have reached the federal level as opposted to the state? Is someone “up there” trying to get back at her for some reason, and if so, why?

Anything you can find like this is so special. This video makes me laugh and cry at the same time. I love it when something touches me like that. One of my brothers (I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters) will always find something like this and send it to me. It’s his way of saying ‘I love you’.

Today we pick up our oldest from the airport. Hour and a half of driving on the highway..the day after 4th. It is going to be such a joy. NOT.
I hope she does not stink to high heaven but I doubt it.

Who has leftovers?
Hubby made the best chicken wings last night. Youngest Dd and I eyeballed the leftovers. I think it will be a fight to the poultry death to see who gets them for lunch today!

Have a safe trip to and fro the airport and have a great reunion with your daughter. My daughter has been away working at her college for the past 7 weeks. She comes home next weekend. She called yesterday in tears because her father’s car, which she has for the summer, is stuck in neutral and she couldn’t get the key out, etc. After we calmed her down (she is usually quite level-headed but felt so alone when this happened), I pointed out that thank goodness it happened this weekend and can get repaired and not next weekend when she makes the 10 hour drive home. Ironically, one week after that, we drive back to her college so she and younger brother can compete in a triathalon. It’s a long trip but it is beautiful in the Finger Lakes region of NY. My son is considering a college that’s 6 hours away that’s on a fairly direct bus route and we are very excited about that as 6 hours seems close! It’s all a matter of perspective.

Honestly Preesi, BradBlog?? That guy is a joke.

Thanks to all of you for the sweet comments. I truly do appreciate your best wishes. It meant a lot to me to sign on and recieve so many good wishes.
Mom and baby are doing fine, but after 18 hrs. of labor, they are exhausted.

fadingnebula and Moon, I had not heard of the “Olivia” the pig books, but did some research and they look adorable. I am going to order several of them and also a few of the products.

By the way, I hope everyone’s July 4th celebration was sparkly and celebrated with family and friends!

It was rainy yesterday in Cinci, but it didn’t stop the local fireworks displays and it most definitely didn’t stop the displays put on by every individual, street, neighborhood, and suburb in the area. I’d never lived in a city that celebrated everything with fireworks until I moved here — and they do it up BIG. I don’t even have to leave my house to enjoy a great, free colorful show on EVERY holiday. They’re starting up again right now. Oh, how they love fireworks here in Cinci! We’ll have another show to watch from the deck in about an hour – yippee!
