The “he said, she said, she said and he said” (ad nauseam) continues with Kate to “set the record straight” on Larry King Live tomorrow evening. What she needs to set straight THIS time, I don’t know. No doubt Jon then will come back to set the record straight again then Kate then Jon the Kate then Jon then Kate then Jon then Kate then Jon then………………
And WHO are the losers once again?
You guessed correctly – neither Kate nor Jon.
Why can’t these people just STFU already?!?!?!? Particularly with school starting for the kids? Oh that’s right, contrary to their constant drivel, only in theory do their children ever come first. Ratings, however, are another story entirely.

Actually you don’t have to, but if you’re a TV watcher chances are you are going to hear the Jon & Kate Plus 8 tell her side of the story because she is determined to correct what she says are erroneous stories about her, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
“Kate felt that there were a lot of stories out there that painted an inaccurate picture of what was going on her life,” a source close to her told RadarOnline.com. “Now she has an opportunity to set the record straight.”
As Jon’s life has become a parade of romances and denial of romances with younger women, Kate has avoided the tawdriness that has kept her family on magazine covers. She did an emotional Today show interview, appeared on Live With Regis & Kelly and will now interview on Larry King Live on Tuesday night.
“Kate has always taken the high road in this thing,” the source close to her told RadarOnline.com. “She doesn’t talk about Jon or bad mouth him at all. Kate mostly talks about her own feelings or emotions. That’s all. And she’ll continue to do this.”
And yet those feelings and emotions have to be pretty raw, especially after Jon wouldn’t let her in the family home recently and police responded to Kate’s 911 call. She eventually left the home and spent the night in a local motel. Meanwhile Jon’s 22-year-old girlfriend Hailey Glassman accused Kate of playing the “sympathy card” during a recent interview.

I know what you mean. I have hesitated to say it outright for some time now, but those kids are goners. There is no hope at this point. Nice of Kevin and Jodi to try and do what they could. I still believe that if the family – the LameAss’ mom, brothers, Kenton and Charlene Kreider, and Take’s sisters – had tried to intervene, something (however small) could have been done to protect those kids. And I’m just going to say that I have nothing but disdain for all of them. Losers.
Fading- keep you posted on the chair. I’ll see what I can do. As far as the Rachel Zoe comparisons, the 2 friends are gay and 1 actually has hung out with her. I know they mean it as a compliment but I need to figure out what they mean specifically. Where I used to live didn’t have Bravo so I’m playing catch up. Not having Bravo is like a crime against humanity in my book.

This is true, there is NO way to protect the kids anymore, as I see it. They are going to find out everything….but at least they had nice clothes and made memories.

Yeah, Rachael does have a problem. I also think part of her weight also has to do with all the stress she is under. I was watching the repeats and she had to have an upper endoscopy (i think) because she said she was having a year long stomach ache. They told her it was stress related.

Add me to that list. It is hard and sad to say that about the kids, but, the truth hurts sometimes so they say. What the state of Pa is doing is anyone’s guess. Doesn’t matter anymore anyway. The only way “this” will be gone is when they don’t and can’t’ bring in the ratings and the sponsors drop like flies. With a bit of luck, perhaps it will happen before this season is over.

Didn’t read this whole blog, only a couple of the first entries, but sounds like it could be written by one of Kate’s people. Lots of bad things about Jon and not so much about Kate. Funny how those P-people are always in the bushes catching Jon but can never get a bad picture of Kate. It all just proves to me that the photographers are being paid by TLC to make Jon look bad and Kate look good. It’s all disgusting and needs to end for the sake of these children.

I’m not willing to say the kids are totally screwed yet. Kids are resilient and there’s still a chance that if they get off the TV, have a private life, and get some therapy, that they can grow up to be normal adults. It may be a long shot but there’s still a shot.

I should have qualified my statement. Kids are resilient, however that should not be a pat dismissal for what they are going through. No I am not insinuating that your statement was in any shape or form a “pat dismissal”. I have read over and over for months people stating that “kids are resilient, they will be ok”. Sometimes this is true and sometimes the furthest from the truth as evidence by how very many adults enter therapy to deal with issues that clearly stem from childhood or become substance dependent due to unresolved trauma in childhood, etc.
But you are correct, it is not a given.
I just don’t want society as a whole to write off a 5 year old or 9 year old as damaged goods forever. The odds are clearly stacked against them but they need to be given every opportunity to live a normal life. I guess I just don’t want people throwing their hands in the air saying that it doesn’t matter if the show goes on or not because the damage is already done. It may be but the sooner it goes off the air, the better for the kids.
I hope upon hope that these children are resilient, but think of all that they’ve had to put up with so far in their short little lives. They’re constantly under bright lights, told when to smile, when to talk, blah, blah blah. They were told by both their parents that they would be together forever and we see where that went. Then after all the upheavel in their house that we’ve heard of, fighting and such, they are told to act like one big happy family while the camera is rolling. You can tell these children crave attention, which it seems neither of the parents are giving them when the cameras aren’t rolling, by the way they attach themselves to any adult that walks into their lives.
I will not be surprised when in a couple of years, Kate comes out and tries to blame it all on TLC and Jon. She will try to make it everyone elses fault except her own that her children are screwed up. I used to have hope for Jon, that he really cared about his kids, but now I think that he’s as big of a money whore as Kate.
Well, my customers from Wernersville checked-in and nothing, absolutely nothing! Boy was I disappointed! They are a much older couple and basically knew as much about J & K as we do, if not less.

I won’t be watching this………..hate LKL……..I don’t think he is even aware half the time who the hell he’s interviewing. And I won’t be watching the “Fameho” either. From my perspective, that I have been saying for a few months now, is that there is nothing that you or I or any of the other thousands of people against this travesty can do. We have TRIED! I have been blogging about, speaking out against and writing letters for over a year now. Point being, that the show is going to go on until the sponsors pull out and no one can make any money going further, and there is nothing that anyone can do about it (well, except for the ones making the money). That is one of the saddest commentaries of all, I think.
Linda, I agree with you that when this show ends and Kate can’t live the lifestyle that her kids have given her for the last couple of years, she’s going to be mad, and you can be damn sure that she’s going to take it out on anyone in her way. She lives in her imaginary world of Kate, where she thinks that she’s really something and that she should have the best of everything. Unfortunately, these poor children are going to suffer when this show finally does end, because neither of their parents care about them and making an honest living and a good home life.

Well the Dionne Quints certainly relied on each other through their lives, but still had many, many issues to deal with unfortunately, but the DID have each other and that is one saving grace.

I agree with you. I have always thought that Take will snap once the “fame” and money dry up. She is so shallow and emotionally unstable and her personality is so brittle that she will just snap/have a psychotic break or do something to take out her psychotic rage on those kids. Hate to say it, but I can tell. I agree also that the LameAss will detach more and more and move into his own life and see those kids as things from the past that were a product of his youth as he does not see them as real and does not take his role as a father seriously. He may be able to sustain a “presence” for the cameras and the show, but once it’s over, he’s gone – emotionally checked out. I do not think he will maintain a relationship with them to a degree that will be meaningful. (Now, that’s taking responsibility, is it not?!)
Merette – not to mention – she hasn’t done anything for herself (cook, clean, manage money, watch the kids, plan her schedule) without an entourage for quite some time (read – since the kids were born.) So she’ll likely file bankruptcy at some point if the train falls off the tracks.

John could not attract that kind of person because he is too selfish. He’ll marry a girl who won’t let him treat his other children as good as the present children and being the jellyfish that he is, the 8 will suffer greatly with no father.
I’ve seen this happen in my family, when my spineless brother abandoned my nieces because his second wife wanted him to only be a father to her(their) daughter. Disgusting! My one neice has suffered terribly because of his decisions.
Well, just watched Katie Irene on Larry King.
She is one tough cold cookie – all responses to questions totally robotic and measured. She didn’t veer off one iota from what she’s said along. There was absolutely no point to the interview – and I have to give Larry the Old Geezer points for attempting to get her to say somehing (anything!) new. He couldn’t break the Ice Queen. Not once. She was in total control of that interview – kinda scary.

I’ve seen this happen in my family, when my spineless brother abandoned my nieces because his second wife wanted him to only be a father to her(their) daughter. Disgusting! My one neice has suffered terribly because of his decisions.

Oh man, that sounds just like my brother. Him and his wife divorced. They had 3 kids. He moved out of the house and was dating this one girl about 3 weeks later. Then, after she’s all in love with him, he leaves her for some other girl and quickly gets her pregnant. He moved to Oceanside, about 5 hours away from his first three kids. He sees them about 4-5 times a year. There was a huge falling out, since our entire family feels that he was wrong, and we no longer speak. His new fiance controls his life. Only families that have been though this know how hard it is, especially since it’s my brother that’s the low life.

My kids are doing well, they are just wonderful, delightful, blah blah blah Kate. I find it hard to believe that!
Kate is desperate. They have spent too much money like typical nouveau riche. Jon wants off the show. He seems to be working hard to get fired. The money will dry up – if not already.
Kate lied over and over in the interview. She did not leave “peaceavly” after the cops showed up at their house.
Okay – completely weird was Kate smiling at clips of herself .
Jon will finally be released of his TLC restrictions. He will speak out. The show will be over. The children will be resented by both parents as much as they were from the time they were born, especially when they aren’t earning enough for their parents to have bodyguards and fancy lifestyles.
Ok, maybe it was a poor choice of words when I said “kids are resilient”. I am by no means saying that you can do whatever and they’ll be fine. I just think that no matter your life circumstance, there is a certain amount of personal choice and no one can ever be written off. For all intents and purposes, the children’s lives have been ruined but if they think that from the outset, they always have an excuse to fall back on. I want them to try to make a good go of it. They have enough strikes against them without the whole world expecting them to end up as drug addicts.
I too have wondered how the kids will fare from living in the glare (and hopefully lack of in the future) of the spotlight. It makes me think of a family like Robt. F. Kennedy’s. It’s a large family, and some of them coped better than others with his death as well as being a part of that family. Vanity Fair has a good arcticle on them in the online archives. Some of the K’s have gone onto very public (and successful) lives, some keep their privacy and others struggled with addiction. The children (the G’s) are these distinct and unique individual souls, beings, people, etc. Their individual sense of self will probably be a factor in how they thrive (emottionally, mentally, spititually) in addition to living this life where they are just treated as money makers / zoo exhibits. It seems all we can do at this point is wait and see.
Note to Kate and Jon, create the therapy accounts along with college accounts.
Ok, and this needs to be said, she claims she’ll continue to do the show as long as it’s safe for her kids -
She’s proven it’s not safe, by refusing to go anywhere without a bodyguard.
How is that a safe, healthy, and normal environment for your kids, Kate?
I did watch LKL. Take was profoundly disturbing to watch. She reminded me of those dolls from the 1960’s where you pull their string and they keep saying the two or three phrases they are programmed to say. Take was icy cold. Or rather – let me say that it was another example where her COMPLETE ABSENCE OF A CONSCIENCE WAS BLATANTLY EVIDENT!! She has no emotion. AT. ALL. She had a goofy, stiff grin on her face when they showed clips of the kids from the show. She’s fucking crazy. This appearance on LKL is part of a last-ditch effort to “re-invent” herself as the struggling “mother” attempting raise 8 kids singlehandedly. BULLSHIT! I am sick of this TWAFFLE and I think in a year from now, she will out completely – a mere blip on our radar screens if that.
Just saw the pictures of her on Just Jared with the body guard. The look on her face is pure pleasure, she looks pretty close to her “bodyguard” and she LOVES all paps taking her picture.

Watched the interview but wish I hadn’t.
1) She needs to get her roots touched up. It was driving me nuts.
2) The twitter feed (or whatever it was) scrolling across the bottom was far more interesting than anything she was saying. People were essentially telling her to shut up and go home to her kids sans cameras.
3) She admitted the kids are not in any sort of therapy or counseling, which made me sad.
4) I’m irritated because I think she was wearing a dress I got for my birthday and now I’m convinced I have horrible taste. Maybe it was just a shirt and I’m wrong.
Putting Katezilla on The View will only fuel her narcissism. Very sad. She will be even more impossible to be around.
With Jon talking about not wanting to film (and I am sure he is mentioning this to the kids) it will rub off on them and they will continue to rebel about being filmed.
That would be a great gift for Jon to give Kate.

In light of Kate once again throwing under the bus in People, I do hope he goes on Larry King Live. Actually I wish that they would both just STFU for the sake of the kids, but as we have seen, neither is going to.
Jon, tell the truth and set the record completely straight once and for all, then take your kids off the damn TV, get a job and move forward without exploiting your kids further.

First, this woman’s pain, not to mention every other inch of her life, hasn’t been “made public”– she’s made it public.
Recently, Gosselin was on the “Today” show, talking about her “head of security” and saying, “I’m in hiding from the paparazzi,” as if she’s the 21st century version of Princess Diana. Ugh.
Gosselin said of her brother and sister-in-law, who have talking publicly about this train-wreck-in-progress: “You have to understand, this has become a business for them. . . . When they appear on talk shows . . . it’s a huge source of income for them to do this. . . . [My brother] became jealous, and they decided to take their fame elsewhere and make money off my children.”
Gee, I wonder if Kate can think of anyone else who is making money off her children. Doesn’t she own a friggin’ mirror?
I had no plans to watch the Larry King interview with Gosselin, but how great would it have been if he had growled to her, “Shut up, go home and take care of your kids. And we’ll be back right after this”?
Kate says her kids are normal and happy, that their favorite show is “Jon & Kate.” Well of course their favorite show is the one featuring themselves — they’re little kids. They’d also enjoy driving race cars and eating all the chocolate in the world if you left it up to them.
For the sake of the children, you hope this won’t be the case, but it seems inevitable that some day these kids are going to turn on their parents like werewolves under a full moon.

Needless to say you have lost some viewers and we do understand you need ratings but to get them by letting this ingrate make more and get it again her way is just toooo much to stomach!!!!!

Jon and Kate Gosselin are putting aside their war of words — at least for the time being — for the sake of their kids.
The bickering couple came together on Thursday morning to send their darling 9-year-old twins, Cara and Mady, off for the first day of school.
Jon and Kate arrived in separate cars around 7 a.m. Thursday to the bus pickup point; a parking lot near the family’s home in Wernersville, PA.
The twins rode with their mom to the lot. When they saw their dad, they gave him a big hug before hopping on the bus.
As the girls boarded the bus Kate, wearing her trademark cap and oversized sunglasses, apologized to the other moms for all the paparazzi there.
In a move to help Kate out, the other moms asked the paps: “Want our picture too?” and added: “Can you go over somewhere else?”
Kate then boarded the bus for a few minutes to say a final goodbye to the girls.
Jon kept his distance from Kate, but said of his kids: “They’re all jazzed up about riding on the bus.” He added: “I’m happy too, because now I don’t have to drive them to school.”
While Mady and Cara start third grade Thursday, the sextuplets start junior kindergarten on Friday.
The septuplets will be in junior kindergarten only three days a week this school year; next year, they’ll go five days a week.
The marriage meltdown between Jon and Kate has grown worse in the last week, with Kate calling the cops on Jon, and slamming him on Larry King Live and in People magazine entitled Kate Strikes Back. In the article, she compared Jon’s behavior to that of a 15-year-old.
On Thursday, when paps asked Kate about the People article, she remained silent.
As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively on August 13th, Jon and Kate’s divorce will be legally official by the end of September.
It’s not clear how their divorce will impact their reality show.
I have never know a person , or one who I have never met that has totally sicken me more then Kate Gosselin..Filming the kids going on the bus, and what is wrong with the other parents?..I would never allow my children to start a school year being filmed, or being around that in any way.. it was about MY KIDS first day…This women now going on the View, ok, She was smart enough to hire the right PR people, good for her..Again the emotional trauma that she now put the twins through is maybe 4 on her list of priorities..And the 6 kids going to part time kindergarten, ok, sounds real good, lets keep playing that preemie shit about developing slower…As a mom who sent all of my kids to nursery school, one I had a son who was shy and knew that interaction with other children was import, and my twins I sent also at 3 for 2 years because being twins i felt it was important for them to learn to socialize with others (and I was the mom that took them to playgrounds EVERYDAY)…The financial scarfice of doing this was well worth it.. I was the mother who got the letter handed to me that my money was in late..The embarrassment that cause me, because the other moms knew what was in that letter ,meant nothing, because it was about my kids, and what was best for them…The outrage I feel hearing that she going on the view, has done it for me..I will make an effort (and it will be an effort) not to read anything that has her name associated with it..,Being a new Yorker, I will not read anything in my paper (and it has been in the paper almost everyday now ) about her and Jon..I have totally enjoyed this blog page, but seeing this women come out on top every time pisses me off too much. No matter who much you write to the sponsors, the shows, it doesn’t mater in least.. If her kids come out ok down the road she will take all the creidt, if they do not, she will blame, jon, tlc, or any one else…If a man like paul Peterson has not been able to do anything about this total, new, experimental show exploiting children, no one will… I blame, everyone from Kate and jon’s family, to all the twins teachers up until now for not bringing this to the attention of child services, the public, the media…..Never i have seen such a sad group of children…And for the people who still say they are so cute, go to your nearest playground, and watch, cute happy, loved children.. The trueman movie was just on a few days ago, this is these kids life, there is nothing cute about it anymore….too sad

Marce, I totally “get” what you are saying! I have felt like all my efforts in the past 4-6 mos. have been in vain. As I said in another thread here at Moon’s, I believe it is too late for the kids. I am angry at the state of PA who, in spite of being written, phoned and faxed about this debaucle refuses to do nothing! There is no doubt in my mind that is because they are making money off the Gosselin children, just as Kate and Jon and TLC are. Those kids were born to be marketed, and Kate has done her job well. There will be hell to pay for her, I assure you. She will, at some point, be held accountable for what she did to her OWN children. If not in this lifetime, most certainly in the next!

I find it very interesting that there are tons of real celebrities, that live in NY and probably walk their children to school and maybe once in a while, we’ll see a picture of them, but we always see pictures of the Gosselin children doing everything. It just tells me that TLC and Kate’s PR people are paying Radar Online and the other “p” people to be there to make sure that they’re all over the internet and people continue to talk about them. Funny, I’ve never seen one picture of any other children that are on the other shows on TLC going to school? They don’t follow the Little People, or the Duggars, or the other family with the sextuplets.
