Circumstances: Subjects were last at an address on Parker street in the Telegraph and Annapolis area. Her car was parked at her father-in-law house with the key in the door. She has recently been released from hospital for psychological reasons (hearing voices) and is not taking her medication. She has attempted suicide in the past.

Hopefully she’s on the run still and hasn’t done anything to the child. I hate that they don’t give a description of the car! I don’t live in the area but do drive Telegraph alot. The one good thing about Michigan being surround by water is there aren’t many ways out in a case like this.
You have a photo of the wrong child!!!!!!!!!!! It is urgent that you remove it ASAP.

I’m sorry, but, JESUS CHRIST, when is this lunacy going to end? I keep thinking about that Tom Cruise movie, Minority Report, about the task force that stops crimes BEFORE they happen.
Not such a bad thing in my opinion.

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. — An Amber Alert for a 1-year-old girl and her mother is canceled after the two were found safe.
McKenzie Grace Tardiff and her mother Megan, 25, were found at an apartment complex in Riverview safe.
Police said the mother said she didn’t want to be with the husband so she was staying at the apartment.
Tardiff’s husband, Jeff said she suffers from bi-polar disease.
The husband called police after he had not seen the two since Thursday.
Tardiff’s car was found abandoned on Parker Street near the intersection of Telegraph Road and Van Born Road in Dearborn Heights

As the owner of Musings, however, the onus is on me. I should have checked and rechecked the picture before publishing that entry. It was super late and I failed to do so. I take complete responsibility for publishing the wrong picture.
I have spoken with the owner of the picture via email, as soon as I signed in this afternoon and have apologized. I think that she understands that it was not intentional and knows that I removed the picture as soon as I received her email.
I will be more diligent in the future.
This story is what keeps everyone hoping for every missing child having a happy ending.
Yes, thank goodness the child is fine. On the other hand, leaving her car and hiding out with a friend makes me wonder about the domestic situation……..

I don’t mean to be ‘rude’ (for lack of a better word) but w/all due respect, HOW or WHY was one of the moderators from HFTM, kids’ pic even ON the site from which you got it? A site, I’m assuming that is dedicated to finding missing children? WHY would you put a pic of your child up on a site like that? Seriously, that seems a bit ‘odd’ to me, unless I am perceiving this whole situation incorrectly! Moon, help me understand it a bit better, please??????
