Tiger Woods Takes An Indefinate Break From Professional Golf

As of today’s date an 11th alleged mistress of Mr. (over ambitious) Woody’s surfaced – it is being reported that this one spent time in the marital home when Elin was away.
Nice.
A partial list of (perpetually up) Woody’s mistresses include: The list of women Woods is alleged to have slept with includes personal concierge Rachel Uchitel, reality TV wannabe Jaimee Grubbs, VIP hostess Kalika Moquin, minimum wage waitress Mindy Lawton, New York party girl Cori Rist, Vegas lingerie model Jamie Jungers, porn star Holly Sampson, and three-way porn specialist Joslyn James.
If that wasn’t bad enough, Hollywood madam Michelle Braun is claiming in the New York Daily News that Woods was a regular client, spending more than $60,000 on dalliances with Junger, Sampson and Playboy model Loredana Jolie.
Sponsors are now fleeing and have pulled their ads featuring him off the air.

I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children. I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I’ve done, but I want to do my best to try.
I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What’s most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing.
After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person.
Again, I ask for privacy for my family and I am especially grateful for all those who have offered compassion and concern during this difficult period.

In the UK an injunction was granted to keep alleged nude pictures of Woody & Co. out of the tabloids.

This whole Tiger Woods’ story is disgusting, heartbreaking, disappointing. One affair is bad enough, but almost a dozen different women ( allegedly)? My husband is a huge golfer and fan of Tiger’s . His take ? Tiger should never have gotten married. That’s it. He would then just be known as a playboy and amazing athlete, period.
Elin should tell Tiger to get lost. JMO.

Was reading earlier on Radar Online (so as usual consider the source) that one of his mistresses is now saying she tried to get pregnant by Tiger so she could get support from him. She claims she told him she was using birth control but wasn’t. If this is true, then Tiger is a bigger idiot than I imagined. Who has unprotected sex these days with skanky women like this?

I watched Dateline tonite re: Tiger. If you all have heard this, forgive me, I hadn’t. They had a woman on from Vegas, who was disguised and voice altered, who knew most of what was going on, at least the beginnings of it, and they were interviewing her. She said this started as a women’s cat fight. Apparenly, Rachel was friends w/some nasty ass looking skank (she was pretty trashy looking), and Rachel had been talking about her relationship w/Tiger and spoke of it often with friends. She shared this w/the skanky gal, who had been keeping her mouth shut about it. Then they went out together partying one evening, and Rachel ‘left’ her ‘friend’, skanky woman by herself and joined up w/another group of friends. Skanky girl got ticked, and as payback, she called the NE. They sent reporters to check out her story, NE gave her a lie detector’s test, etc. and she checked out. Tiger’s folks were in negotiations to pay off this chick to keep her quiet, but the Tiger team dragged their feet too long in going back and forth w/her, and the article printed.
Apparently, according to the gal in disguise, what happens in Vegas really does stay in Vegas! And here I thought it was just some cute little Vegas Chamer of Commerce tourism catch phrase! LOL
Good points Linda. It’s amazing to me that one of the richest athletes in the world who has an amazing security team is no match for a woman who opened her mouth to brag. Loose lips sink ships.
One of my favorite media celebrities who knows people high up in the golf world says that the rumors of Tiger’s infidelities have been around for a few years.

Don’t get me wrong, I know Tiger screwed the pooch (pun intended) and his arrogance is only exceeded by his sheer stupidity. But I hope this is the first of many good decisions Tiger makes. He is facing his demons and paying his dues. No more excuses, no longer seems concerned about his public image; he knows he needs to fix his marriage and his keep family intact. This, my friends, is what happens when you don’t have the TLC spin doctors orchestrating your every move. You just do the right thing.
All said, though, I cannot fathom why Elin would stick by/with him. No amount of money can buy back that trust he so blatantly took for granted.
I saw part of an interview yesterday morning (Today show) with Jamie Jungers (I think I got that right). She said she and Tiger were seen in public together multiple times and fans of Tiger took photos. How did none of that hit the media before? Do all of the women look similar enough to his wife to make people think it was Elin? (or that Elin was having an off day, or the fan had a few too many glasses of wine…)
He is a brilliant golfer. I really don’t buy products based on his endorsements (people really do that???). I really don’t care if he has made a mess of his personal life.
I do feel awful for his family having to live through the mess he has made, and all of the media coverage they will have to endure.
Every other major sport has had at least one major sex scandal, why not golf? Golf will survive, Tiger will survive (with less endorsement income, at least for the near future).

With a billion in earnings, a half dozen homes scattered, the poor boy can retire and live off the interest. It will be interesting to follow his future golf games, if he’s lost his touch, no doubt the
endorsements will follow.

It’s sad but most famous sport guys do the same things Tiger has done, they just haven’t been caught. If it hadn’t have been for the domestic dispute and accident I don’t believe we would know anything about his philandering.
I have zero sympathy for any of the “ho’s” – a simple google search would have let you know you were messing with a married man

I agree with your husband–Tiger never should have gotten married in the first place–he clearly wasn’t ready for marriage. He could’ve just have been known as an great golfer and playboy until he was ready to settle down. No one would’ve cared. Or, he could’ve been like George Clooney and sworn off marriage.
Also, I saw some of that interview with one of the alleged mistresses–she said in all the time she knew him, he didn’t talk about his wife or his marriage—maybe once? Huh? If, as she states, she was in a long-term relationship with him, why wouldn’t this come up? Or, one of the mistresses saying she felt betrayed by Tiger when she found out she wasn’t the “only” one–WTF, he’s married, stupid! Having children with his wife, too–so why would any of them assume they were the “only one?” Makes no sense unless they thought they were the only mistress.
As far as his marriage–that’s between him and his wife if things are going to work out. Maybe it’s good thing for him to take a break if he truly wants to work on his marriage.

I think the next major golf tourn. is in Feb., heard that on one of the reports. Wonder if he’ll be ‘back’ by then. Wonder if his game will still be as good as before. I find him to be somewhat cowardly now. If he was smart, he’d do one interview, tell the truth, and be done with it, as far the media frenzy is concerned.
I think that “Woody,” ranks right up there with Jon Gosselin, another “Woody.”
But, Jon Gosselin’s marriage was over when he took his tool belt and passed it around.

For the most part, golf “season” is over until late spring/early summer. (With the exception of the one in February.)
This is according to my darlingest sweetie, an every weekend golfer.
Pat, I think she just bought a home ($2.2 mil) on an island off of the coast from Stockholm….you don’t wanna be her now, she’s got a ’screw-ball’ (pun intended) for a hubs!

Linda, I read she bought the whole sheebang. Whatever she bought, you can only get there by boat and Tiger is in a leaky kyak right now. And, yeah, I wish I could buy an island and go there.
I haven’t been forced (YEA!) to watch Pro Golf for 10 years, but the PGA Pro tour starts in January (in the US).
The B Hope & La Jolla are the two first big ones, there are several before those, also.

In time Elin will get over this. Tiger is young, and at some point, he’ll go back to golf–and who knows, maybe he’ll use his anger over his affairs becoming public fodder, and be a better golfer than he already is. Unfortunately, his little kids will not be the same as they would have been had their father been loyal to their mother. If they split up, (which I bet they will—anyone with an ounce of esteem wouldn’t stay with that kind of treatment). The 10 month old and 2 year old will not have their dad at the breakfast table. Mom wont be gallivanting all over with the kids so they can be there for dad’s tournament. He’ll be an every-other-weekend kind of dad, if that (depending on his golf schedule). But, when they are old enough, he’ll only be a cell phone call away. Great! Dad won’t be there for the day-to-day stuff that make up the moments that is what it is to raise a child. Tiger’s actions completely altered the kind of relationship he will have with his kids in the years to come. He pissed off their mother. There is no way he will be as close to his children had he not fucked everything.
This is just my opinion.

I agree. When one does something this egregious, it invariably alters the lives and outcomes, for those who are the closest to them. Quite sad if there are children affected.
Haven’t had a chance to catch up on this thread, but had to let you all know that I went to visit a friend in Orlando this weekend. Our curiosity got the best of us and we went to Blue Martini on Friday night to see what the place was all about. Very interesting….
Also, my friend’s fiance’s parents (got that?) live in Windermere, a couple of lakes over from Tiger’s house and they said the helicopter traffic has been out of control. After his most recent announcement, things have died down, but when it all hit the fan they said there were so many helicopters, they wondered how they weren’t getting in each others’ airspace. Crazy.
2 interesting developments. CPS paid a visit to the Woods’ home over the weekend, stemming from possible ‘domestic violence’ on Thanksgiving. (Hear that Pennsylvania?)

I call bullshit on all these bimbos saying they are sorry for the pain they have caused Elin. I do believe Elin had no knowledge of his affairs. My husband doesn’t think so. He thinks she’s there for the money no matter what. I’m no body language expert, but she looks genuinely happy in every clip I’ve seen of her and Tiger together. So sad. I feel very sorry for her.
