The ongoing saga of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s deteriorated marriage is finally nearing its end. A source tells RadarOnline.com that Kate is “thrilled” with their arbitrator’s decision of how to divide the couple’s property and money. Her lawyer also told RadarOnline.com that the couple’s divorce finalization is imminent.

“She couldn’t be happier,” the source told RadarOnline exclusively. “Kate is thrilled.”

Her lawyer Mark Momjian told RadarOnline.com that his team is “not going to make any comment until the decree is entered.”

The decision, which was not expected to be made until December 21, is binding and will be transmitted to divorce court.

Momjian did say that the divorce finalization would happen sometime between now and the end of the year.

I don’t like guns personally, but from what I can tell Jon was alone at the house yesterday and posed no threat to her or the kids. Why did Jon choose to do this in public yesterday? Another stupid decision. He must have been bored with no paps to talk to, the kids in school and a court date looming in 24 hours. Oh well. It’s a done deal, now.

My understanding is the gun was registered under their current home’s address. Perhaps when they moved more ‘out’ from the subdivision world, they purchased it for safety reasons. Either way, he has been ordered to list it to a new address, IN Berks Co. I’d assume that means he’s not supposed to take it across state lines???? Wonder when Jon is going to give up on the NYC apt. and live more frugally, in something he can afford.

On another note, I have to say, I kept waiting for Jon to “pull out” the big ‘contract’ Kate had presented him last Oct. or Nov. during any of these arbitration meetings or court appearances. Given the supposed outcome of the divorce, and the fact that we’ve never heard about said contract, I have to wonder IF there really was ever a contract???? They are both now officially single.

Jon Gosselin is in immediate financial trouble now that his divorce from Kate Gosselin is final … because he got nailed with huge child support payments and has no real way of paying … sources tell TMZ.

We’ve learned under the arbitrator’s award, Jon must make huge child support payments — we’re told 5 figures a month. And here’s the problem. TLC has now shut down Jon’s ability to take outside jobs. The irony — he did himself in.

We’ve also learned Jon was charged every penny of the $235,000 that he withdrew from their joint account. That amount was deducted from his piece of the settlement.

As for Jon’s claim that Kate should be docked for money she withdrew … we’ve learned Jon struck out. The arbitrator determined every penny she withdrew was for the benefit of the kids.

Under the terms of the divorce decree, Kate has primary custody and Jon gets visitation — both Jon and Kate agreed to that in advance. And, they agreed, neither party would get spousal support.

Exactly. Something is certainly not ringing true with this one. Even if they based it on monies earned over the last few years, that would be null and void considering TLC’s injunction against Jon, meaning he cannot perform any “celebrity” work until his contract with TLC is up, and the only money that Jon could make would be at a regular job. I highly doubt that Jon was making much at his government job as an “IT Specialist” – as I highly doubt that Jon is an IT anything. Perhaps data entry. He is uneducated and has a poor work history. So in the Court’s formulation from the respective parties’ financial affidavits, I could see that Jon could possibly be ordered to pay 5 figure child support if he was bringing in the money that he was previously, but he is not, so I have no idea how they are getting a 5 figure child support payment from a parent who has no income. You can’t garner blood from a stone.

They could be taking into consideration his assets and ordering child support from those remaining, leaving the door open for modification of the Support Order when Jon has nothing left. When that happens and Jon is working whatever job he is,or none at all, the child support will be recalculated to reflect the monies that Jon is bringing in, which may or may not be much of anything.

There is still an astounding mortgage in the Berks County Records, surprisingly no mortgage on their last house? Or was that in a different county? The document about the mortgage is sealed so there’s no way to how much it is worth. Reading the other records, they were given their first house (or land?) by a guy named Theordore Mury and then deeded the house to Eugene Lamanna, a disbarred lawyer. I have a feeling TLC may have helped with the down payment.

Her show won’t last. The twenty die hard fans that she has will watch it but that’s about it. TLC won’t have a choice with her weak ratings. It’s up to us to not watch it to keep the ratings low though.

The Learning Channel knows that a show with Kate alone won’t make it. I saw about a minute of Hate on Jay Leno. She looked like a horse. When she did her fake laugh, she did the weirdest, PHONIEST move yet. She shimmied her shoulders like a belly dancer while bending forward from the waist, and just about spilled those new silicone-filled bubbies. I think Kate was saying the only thing she’d eat/drink from McDonald’s is the coffee (because Jay pushed her for an answer I think?) not that she actually deigns to drink the McDonald’s coffee on a regular basis. (Yes, I watched the Jay piece…I’m ashamed).

The segment was strange. Kate came across very rehearsed. I wonder if she was reading from cue cards? I don’t think she said umm very often. Although she did roll her eyes back to access a reason for why she would hold her breath as a child when crossing a cemetary. I wonder if the why she did that for wasn’t expected? And how hard is it to say that you were scared that you would inhale ghosts or something? (If that is indeed a childish superstition of hers). Although I found it funny that she didn’t have a ’superstition’ as an adult – she’s way above that shit obviously. LOL.

Anyway – what I found interesting (besides the fact that Mr. Leno looked uncomfortable during the segment) was that Kate has this black hole effect about her (this is the first time I’ve seen her outside the show). You know how some people have personality so they just glow on tv – and others are flat and they seem to not have a personality – well Kate – she goes beyond that. She just sucks the energy out of the room – it’s really quite phenomonal. The whole segment was boring and forced – not even interesting for train wreck factor.

Hailey Glassman Goes From Jon Gosselin To The Boxing Ring

Jon Gosselin’s ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman has found a way to stretch out her 15 minutes. Friday night she was the referee for a girl-on-girl boxing match!

Hailey’s turn in the ring came as she acted as referee for Celebrity Boxing 15 at the Philadelphia Airport Ramada. She wore a classy Ed Hardy shirt for the event.

If the children live in the house and she is responsible for mortgage payments, then whatever he pays her per month must be used for living expenses for the children. This includes the mortgage. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, so we have no way of knowing if he also has to pay the mortgage, in addition to child support. Could be, but I doubt it. The total amount of the mortgage payment and the school tution per month exceed $10,000. However, we don’ t know how much of the maintenance costs, utilities, childcare, etc. etc. are being paid for by TLC. We also don’t know if the tuition cost is included in the child support payments, or if that’s an additional expense for him. I would think that she would at least have to come up with half of that.

It is already fairly well known that Stephanie Santoro was on TLC/Kate’s payroll. As was Deanna Hummel. What may not be known is that Kate Majors was also and so were Lohan and Hailley herself!

Jon needed to be on his toes while this whole thing went down. If he were to get a cut of the house or more access to the kids he did not need to be distracted by bimbos and losers giving bad advice.

Look how Hailley swooped in. The daughter of Kate’s plastic surgeon contacts Jon out of the blue to offer “support”. Yeah ok. So she pretends they have this big romance going and then BAM! She starts telling the world how Jon is a pathological liar, Jon is crazy, Jon is a stalker. And to what was she referring? That he “cheated” on her with Santoro and Majors! Lohan starts selling him out. Meanwhile, Jon took advice to move to NY and agreed to give up the fight for his kids thinking Hailley would be there for him always. She pressured him to do this!

Now Jon is out in the cold as was the plan from the get go. They knew just what this man’s vulnerabilities were and exploited them. He needed companionship and someone to care about him so they begin to send in the bimbo parade. They send in the fake friends. Kate is painted out to be a saint and Jon is forever known as just an douchey Dad. Note that Hailley never talked bad about Kate, said she respected her. Look at all the details Lohan now wants to cough up about how Jon broke his contract even though Lohan was the one pressuring Jon to do just that.

I know Jon made major mistakes in his life after the split, but being unfaithful to Kate while they were married is not one of them. If the tabloids even sniffed out an inkling of Jon’s infidelity they would have been on him like a bunch of vultures. It was HER that was under a cloud of suspicion about being unfaithful with Stevie but for some odd reason the tabloids never said anything much about that or followed up. I realize that J&K were still married when Jon played around, but you never heard were he was unfaithful while Kate was pregnant with the twins, or while she laid for 1,999 weeks on bed rest with the sextuplets. When my son was born, he was very premature and was in the NICU, and we could only visit him for an hour a day. I don’t know if that’s the practice now or not.

Well, not to agree with Kate or TLC, but since she has children I think she should keep the Gosselin last name. I wouldn’t want a different last name than my children and I wouldn’t want my children to have a different last name than I.

I understand Kate not wanting to change her name. I DON’T understand where TLC thinks they can make that decision for her either way. What legal right do they have and why are they even the spokespeople for KG when it comes to Jon’s name? How is it even TLC’s business? Kate really has sold her soul to the TLC devil if she’s given them permission to make this kind of decision. It’s just sick…

Not that I disagree that TLC should have no say in the matter, I just got the impression they were just speaking on her behalf. I didn’t think they made the decision. Now that the divorce is final I don’t think her lawyers are going to give statements on her behalf, so TLC will continue like they did before. JMO. Of course I wish they’d shut up too but I don’t think that will happen as long as she is under contract.

Didn’t Hitchcock ruin Tippy’s career because he was in love with her and only wanted her doing movies for him? Actually I guess I’d compare that more to Jon than Kate. TLC doesn’t love him but they want to have total control over him and not let him do anything for them, or anyone else.

Jon NEEDS to write a tell-all book. He needs to find a good co-author and just tell every little secret, once his contract is up. But he would have to be totally honest even if it makes him look bad because just one lie would make you question anything he wrote. He needs reputable people to back up his stories and he needs to provide as much documentation as he can. The only problem is I’m sure Kate kept all that and not him. Maybe his lawyers can make sure he gets copies.

When are the people who know the whole truth behind TLC and Jon and Kate going to come out with info? If that one “I may know something” comment quoted above from GWOP is true, I really feel that person has a moral obligation to come forward. He or she should contact Jon’s attorney and see if they can testify without getting in trouble for breaking their confidentiality clause. Or better yet, get their own lawyer because you probably can’t trust Jon’s to do right by anyone but their own case.

Tam, I think their objective was just to get the kids off TV…so they may still stay in contact w/Jon, but I don’t think we’ll hear from them again, unless maybe the kids end up back on TV, just my thoughts.

‘Balloon’ Fam Gets $42,000 Bill

The two morons behind that terrible “Balloon Boy” stunt are finally going to have to pay the price for all of their dumbassery — a cool $42,000.
The Larimer County District Attorney’s office claims it sent the bill to Richard and Mayumi Heene — demanding the couple pay restitution to the agencies which took part in the rescue attempt when they thought 6-year-old Falcon Heene had gone airborne in a massive Jiffy Pop-style hot air balloon.

According to the Denver Post, the DA claims the Heene’s $42k will go towards the police, the national guard and the Federal Aviation Administration — who all played a role on October 15.

A lawyer for the Heenes claims they won’t pay a cent until they see receipts and records — we’re pretty sure there’s no shortage of TV footage.

In today’s NE online there is a picture of Kate flaunting her boobs like the good Christian mother she is. The funny part is NE referrs to Kate as a cougar.

CDAN – So this female reality star was out shopping on Sunday and standing in line with what my source said was an incredibly hot guy. Anyway, who she was with is not really the point of this, but just an added bonus. Anyway, the point is our reality star who has even had her own show was talking on her cell phone in a very, very loud voice. This was annoying to the other 20 people in line, but not as annoying as the way she was talking on the phone. Not seeing anyone in front of her, our reality star pushes by the guy, knocking him to the floor and walks up to the register. Meanwhile the people behind her help the man back to his feet. Our reality star continued to chat very very loudly the entire time at the register and as she walked out the door.

The whole little people thing is sort of hypocritical. The only thing interesting about them is that they are little dealing with a world made for taller people. They want to show that they are the same as everyone else so then what makes them so special that they should have their own show? A real documentary or maybe even the original LPBW was good because it raised awareness and let people see how they are normal except short. Once you start having a bunch of shows about little people it almost becomes a freak show. They are putting their lives on display and people are watching them only because they are little. Doesn’t that remove the Just Like Everybody Else factor?

Just the way they worded the headline is misleading. Shocking, isn’t it?

FROM RADARONLINE – EXCLUSIVE: Kate Gosselin Bounced From New TV Show For Being Too Controversial

Kate Gosselin is not going to be part of a new TV show that she shot a pilot for because executives thought she was too controversial, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

In early September, Kate was one of several hosts for a Momlogic TV pilot. She joined Food Network star Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and former Early Show co-host Rene Syler.

The show, by Telepictures, has been described as The View for working moms and while it is technically still alive, industry insiders tell RadarOnline.com that it is on life support. It is still on the schedule to be sold at the convention where TV shows are pitched, but an insider said there is little chance it will make it.

With multiple hosts, the show was designed to tackle topics such as teen pregnancy as well as lighter fare.

One TV source with knowledge of the situation told RadarOnline.com that high-level executives believed Kate was too controversial for the show and didn’t think she was ready for a full-time hosting job, even as part of a panel.

But not all decision makers agreed with that assessment. “There was a lot of arguing,” the source, familiar with the behind-the-scenes action, told RadarOnline.com exclusively.

Paula Deen was being pushed as the show’s star, even in the multi-host format. There was some concern that Kate’s notoriety was upsetting Paula by drawing attention away from her. All of this was kept completely quiet.

But the decision to drop Kate doesn’t mean no more Kate on TV. She will be back on TLC in the spring with a new show, whose concept has not been made public. And unlike the Momlogic show, whose future is uncertain at best, TLC has committed to Kate’s new show, even as it works to finish developing its concept.

As RadarOnline.com reported recently, Kate was in North Carolina taking orders and waiting on customers in a famous diner. The TLC show is still in development while experimental filming takes place.

When I saw the Radaronline story I thought it was a early Christmas present. (Insert evil laugh.) I think “controversial” is a nice way of saying she’s a bitch. You are right Linda – I don’t know anyone who likes Kate other than TLC.

The damage to Jon Gosselin’s apartment is far worse that we thought — according to his attorney, a “butcher knife” wielding maniac sliced and diced the entire place into a million pieces.

Jon’s attorney tells TMZ … when Jon entered his Manhattan apartment this afternoon, he found his “shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings” had been slashed by a “sick perpetrator” — and it doesn’t stop there.

We’re told Jon’s “television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were burglarized from his apartment.” Jon’s attorney also says a “Ming vase, believed to be over 100 years old … was smashed to pieces.”

As for the note that was left behind … it was “speared” to Jon’s bedroom dresser with a butcher knife.

As we first reported, law enforcement sources say Hailey Glassman’s name was signed at the bottom of the note — but that doesn’t mean she had anything to do with it.

Jon’s attorney says the NYPD fingerprinted and photographed the scene today … and Jon wants felony charges brought against whoever is responsible.

The above break in proves what we’ve all been saying about protection for the children. What if whoever did it decided to take it out on them, they never had anyone to protect them, including their parents.

Either Jon is the target of a huge conspiracy (and why no credible journalist hasn’t taken this whole thing on as a way to expose what could be the biggest media cover up in reality TV is beyond me) OR, I don’t know…..to be honest, I have a really hard time believing that Jon is the bad guy that the media is making him out to be. We all saw with our own eyes what Kate was capable of and how she emasculated him over and over. We saw Jon as a doting father. We saw Jon get up at the butt crack of dawn to serve her highness coffee in bed. We saw and heard from Julie and others in the know who confirmed the suspicions we had about Kate’s rage and her narcissism.

‘Exclusive’ to ROL from Heller the Hack:

“Hailey Glassman is going to jail. It’s a simple as that.”

That’s what Jon Gosselin’s lawyer Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview, as New York police continue to investigate damage to Jon’s apartment.

Police seized building security tape, according to Heller, who said the only person other than Jon with a key to his apartment is Hailey.

Heller spoke out after Hailey’s attorney told RadarOnline.com that the situation appeared to be a “huge publicity stunt” and someone is trying to frame Hailey.

Heller fired back that security video will prove Hailey trashed Jon’s apartment Saturday and left with his plasma TV and other belongings.

He revealed that Jon’s favorite Louis Vuitton shoes were shredded by some type of knife and a Ming vase that was in Jon’s family for 100 years was shattered.

Police gathered fingerprint evidence from the knife and the handwritten note, Heller told RadarOnline.com. One source says that Hailey has admitted to writing the note.

“The building security tape will not lie and the evidence will speak for itself,” Heller told RadarOnline.com.

The former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star discovered his New York apartment ransacked after spending Christmas in Pennsylvania with his eight children.

He also found a handwritten note “speared” with a knife into his wooden dresser, Heller told RadarOnline.com. Some of his clothing, luggage and bedding was slashed, according to Heller.

Hailey’s mother called Jon, Heller told RadarOnline.com, but Jon wouldn’t discuss the incident with her.

But seriously, I have nothing bad to say about Baby Mama. I have a certain loyalty to her because she welcomed me and kept me there when others wanted me gone.

She’s been very nice to me and actually posts my comments and although we have totally different viewpoints we respect each other as people, and that’s important to me. To be honest she seems to rarely be on the computer, I think she’s quite busy in her personal life. (Much to my dismay because it takes a while to view the comments but I know she has to keep comment moderation on.)

As for the “Kate fans” there and elsewhere, no, I don’t get it and I honestly try to see their view on it and just can’t. Aside from that I enjoy the discussions and I guess I think the opposing viewpoints make it more interesting. As long as the other posters there are respectful towards me I can deal with it. I’ve had a few battles there but I’m not easily intimidated. I guess if you read there you know what I’m talking about.

Although it is nice to read other blogs (and I do) that see things my way so that I know I’m not crazy. I try to make my comments at Baby Mama’s first before I read other blogs so that I’m not influenced by other’s comments but I find that people a lot of times say or have said exactly what I say anyway. I also like that other blogs mention things that the Kate fans just gloss over or don’t even mention.

I do find it funny how a lot of them don’t reply to my comments. They say it’s because they just scroll past my comments but I’m just going to take it as they agree with me and couldn’t have said it better themselves. lol.

I normally don’t post anywhere else for two reasons: 1) It’s time consuming and 2) I don’t like the “blog wars” that I keep seeing popping up between the “trolls” and “haters” and “sheeple” on various sites. I just can’t get into that and don’t want to get in the middle of it all.

Hailey Glassman’s attorney admitted to RadarOnline.com that security footage will show Jon Gosselin’s ex girlfriend removing a TV and other items from his apartment.

But Stephanie Ovadia said Glassman did nothing wrong and simply removed her belongings from the apartment she shared with the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star.

“We’re not denying Hailey took the TV,” Ovadia told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interiew. “We are not denying she took her belonging out of the apartment. She is moving on with her life and taking her belongings.

“She moved all her belongings out so there will be security video showing her carrying items out of the apartment.”

Glassman moved out last week. Jon called police Saturday and said he found his apartment ransacked with clothing and other items slashed, plus a note from Hailey speared to a wooden dresser with a knife.

His attorney Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com: “Hailey Glassman is going to jail. It’s a simple as that.”

But Ovadia said that comment was irresponsible and Hailey, “is not even a suspect.”

She also said she has no information about a letter left in the apartment allegedly signed by Hailey. “I don’t know anything about a letter. I don’t have a copy of a letter,” Ovadia told RadarOnline.com.

Amazingly, despite all the accusations, Ovadia says Hailey has no bad feelings toward Jon.

“Hailey has nothing bad to say about Mr. Gosselin,” Ovadia told RadarOnline.com. “She took her belongings and she is moving on with her life.”

Ovadia insisted that Hailey is simply caught in a bad situation and confirmed – as RadarOnline.com first reported – that both Hailey and her parents have been interviewed by police in the ongoing investigation.

“Hailey is 22 years old and she needs to move on with her life. She is caught up in madness and she is a baby,” Ovadia told RadarOnline.com.

“She was asked certain facts that occurred by police. Her mother was also asked about certain facts.”

But Ovadia was insistent that Heller had gone too far stating Hailey will be arrested. “You can’t, as a lawyer, become personal,” she told RadarOnline.com. “Our service is to defend our client. It is irresponsible to put out there someone is going to jail when the person is not even a suspect, they have not been convicted and there isn’t even a judge appointed in the case.”

As much as I hate to, I have to agree with this statement. Heller, another famewhore:

I was just thinking (and again, I spend way too much time analyzing this whole mess….just call me Nancy Drew)….

Jon wears his emotions on his sleeve. Remember the final episode of season 4 or 5 when Jon and Kate were sitting on the couch and Kate kept saying she loves the show and she’s happy and Jon kept saying he wasn’t happy and didn’t know if they’d be back? Kate was awful cool and collected for a woman who already KNEW she was filing for divorce. She knew their marriage was done and yet she played along with TLC for the ratings. Jon on the other hand couldn’t hide his frustration, anger and heartbreak.
Just another clue into Kate’s ability to lie and deceive….oh but Jon is the one who walked out right?

Of course Hailey won’t say anything bad about Jon now. She trashed his apartment and she knows it. A friend mentioned to me, and I thought it was rather interesting: how do we know Kate and Hailey didn’t have a thing and that this is all part of the plan? She (Kate) certainly gives off a vibe, seems rather close to her friend from MI, knew the Glassman’s more intimately, and seems to have some sort of connection or at least appearance of cahoots with the nannies in question.

Where has Kate “hidden” herself all this time when away from the kids? Coincidentally, it’s at the exact time Jon is tied up with the kids and out of the loop.

Jon isn’t too bright and Kate is diabolical, after all.

Gossipy and without facts, I know, but worth speculating about it would seem. Who the heck knows how far this goes, really?

Hailey Glassman’s latest love interest, boxing promoter Damon Feldman, believes that she was set up by Jon Gosselin after his New York flat was ransacked.

RadarOnline.com previously reported how Glassman’s attorney Stephanie Ovadia claimed her client was simply removing her belongings from the apartment whereas Gosselin believes his former lover trashed his pad.

The Glassman-Gosselin ‘love-hate’ relationship took a bizarre twist on Boxing Day after the reality dad called police and said he found his apartment ransacked with clothing and other items slashed, plus a note he claimed was from Hailey speared to a wooden dresser with a knife.

Gosselin’s attorney Mark Heller told RadarOnline.com that Glassman would be ‘going to jail’ as a result of the incident while Ovadia claimed that her client was ‘not even a suspect’ and that security footage would show she was just removing her belongings.

Damon Feldman added: “Things seem to have gotten out of hand but I believe Hailey just wants to move on with her life and Jon Gosselin can’t handle that.

“The guy has got eight kids for god’s sake there was never going to be a future as Hailey is way too young for that right now.”

The celebrity boxing promoter also revealed to RadarOnline.com that he’s currently in talks with another one of Jon Gosselin’s former flames, ex tabloid reporter Kate Major, to appear at one of his all girl matches in the New Year.

UPDATE on my NYPD cop/lawyer friend:

He wrote me back! We’ve emailed back and forth a few times. I think he’s still in shock. He said he couldn’t believe that I remembered him 22 years later and remembered his name and rank. lol.

NEW YORK – The Society of Professional Journalists condemned NBC News for practicing “checkbook journalism” by chartering a jet that carried a New Jersey man involved in a bitter custody battle and his son home from Brazil.

David Goldman, who successfully fought the Brazilian family of his now-deceased ex-wife for custody of 9-year-old Sean, granted an interview to Meredith Vieira of NBC’s “Today” show that aired Monday.

NBC said Goldman was booked for “Today” before the network invited him on the plane. The network had already arranged for the plane to bring its own employees home for Christmas, NBC News spokeswoman Lauren Kapp said. If NBC hadn’t brought the Goldmans’ home, one of its rivals would have, she said.

“We’ve covered this story exceptionally well,” she said. “Their going on the plane did not affect our coverage of the story or getting them booked at all.”

NBC News told viewers that it had paid for the Goldmans’ trip home, she said. The network showed pictures of the Goldmans on the plane and on “Nightly News” featured a brief interview by correspondent Jeff Rossen with David Goldman while both were on the plane.

The journalists’ group said NBC News jeopardized its integrity with the arrangement.

“Paying for access taints the credibility and neutrality of what you are doing,” said Andy Schotz, chairman of the SPJ ethics committee. “There is now a motive for people to be helping you, to be telling you what you want to hear.”

Most news organizations say they don’t pay for interviews. But critics say the commonly used practice of paying to license photos or video from a subject matter or paying for someone’s travel is a way of getting around the restriction.

At the same time SPJ criticized NBC News for its conduct with the Goldmans, CNN and ABC paid for cell phone pictures taken by Jasper Schuringa, the man who helped subdue an alleged terrorist who tried to take down a Detroit-bound plane. Both also interviewed Schuringa but denied any connection between the payments and interview.

Kapp said she believed NBC News did nothing wrong by chartering the plane.

The Goldmans “were invited on as guests,” she said. “This was not a booking strategy.”

Goldman’s lawyer, Patricia Apy, said Tuesday that Goldman never had a contract with NBC. She said the Goldman camp was loyal to the network because it did a thorough report on his situation a year ago before the story became major news.

Some media outlets offered favors in return for access, Apy said, but Goldman turned them down. She declined to say which media outlets were involved.

She said Goldman accepted the flight in part because of fears that multiple camera crews might be onboard if they flew back to the U.S. on a commercial flight.

DM, I have mixed feelings on this. I guess it’s not “socially acceptable” for a father of 8 children who allegedly left his wife for a younger woman (this is the story in the media even though we know it’s not the truth) to go out on the town clubbing.

I tend to be a non conformist so I don’t necessarily think it’s “wrong” for him to go to a club. However, since he is aware of the media’s perception of him and since he is such an easy target, I don’t understand why he would choose the self destruct button by going out partying. It seems logical that if you are really trying to change (which is what he had said last month), then you would lay low, focus on your family, getting a job, etc….instead of staying in the city and partying like you’re 21. Sorry – you may interpret my statement as “unkind”, but I stand by it.
Public personna is everything for these people who live in the eye of the media/public. How they are perceived can make or break their careers. Drew is regarded one way, and Staub, the other. One has worked her lifetime to get to the level she has obtained while the other flaunted herself on a reality show that prides itself in showing the awful way people can behave.
If Jon had run into Drew at a club and if she had made a statement using the same words as SS, I’m fairly certain the headline wouldn’t have read “Jon Douches Again”. It took interviewing Staub to generate that.

1) I’ve thought about the book idea and as much as I would absolutely LOVE to know what’s happened, I’m not so sure it’s in the best interest of the kids to hear daddy (or mommy) revealing all there is to tell. I’m on the fence on that.
2) Good luck with that one, Jon! A non-biased news source to take on TLC might be hard to find but wouldn’t it be lovely.
3) I’ve said it before, Heller is a dufus who doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. I’m afraid Jon’s problem now is money. The powerful attorney he needs to fight TLC would cost a bundle and require a whole team of lawyers. I’m afraid Jon doesn’t have much of a chance.

I finally saw Christmas Story for the first time last year. Did you know that the house where they did exterior shots is here in Cleveland and they do tours every Christmas season? The interior is duplicated to the look like the movie house.

Jon is in a no win situation. He’s damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. If he would just hang out at his apartment and lay low for awhile the tabloids would have a field day with that too. The tabloids would read something like this…..”Jon Gosselin’s Secret Life.”… Jon Gosselin, depressed and suicidal, A source seen Jon’s friend at a local liquor store buying booze and dropping it off at Jon’s New York apartment.Sources said “Jon answered the door and was unshaven and in a drunken state.” We also have a reliable source telling us that “Jon spends his days secluded, drinking and basically turning into another Howard Hughes.” “Jon only sobbers up, and comes out of hiding when it’s his weekends with the children.” said a close family friend.

Jeanette, I think my point is, he wouldn’t be experiencing much of this ’slamming’, had he made wiser choices at the outset of all of this mess. I agree ROL is being paid by TLC (other as well), but you have to admit, Jon gave them more than ample ‘dirt’ to rag on him about. Unfortunately, he can’t go back and ‘undo’ the damage, but he could at least begin showing some maturity/discretion now.

His apt. trashing, for instance, is most likely (should Hailey be guilty) a result of his involvement w/her in the first place. Kate Gosselin’s first stab at reality didn’t end up smelling like roses (more like a bad scented candle that you can’t re-gift), so I’m left scratching my head with word that the original TV octo-mom may be looking for love via reality television. That’s right … a Kate Gosselin reality dating show. Oh, 2010, we don’t know whether to love or hate you!

Oh no, say it ain’t so. Sources tell me the newly-single Kate Gosselin is in discussions to star in a new reality show — this time focusing on finding new (and hopefully snipped) love! “Love her or hate her, people are fascinated by Kate,” a TV executive tells me. “she has a lot of mouths to feed and Kate looking for love will certainly put bread on the table.”

But before you return your TV to Best Buy, take note that the idea hasn’t been greenlighted yet. “It’s still in the development stage,” says one insider — and let’s hope it stays there. Kate, we all want you to find love, but this time around, maybe keep the cameras out of it.

Also, may we suggest some titles? ‘Date Kate!’ or perhaps ‘Who Wants to Marry an Octo-Mom?’ … no, we’ve got it: ‘Oh,Give Me a Break!’ Yeah, that one sings!

So I guess it’s going to be totally acceptable for Kate to date complete strangers in front of hundreds, if not thousands of people and get paid thousands of dollars to pimp herself out to the viewing public. And if we’re lucky, just like the cougar she will bring her eight kids in to meet and interview the prospects who are trying to win over her little pea-pickin’ heart. No pressure kids…just tell mommy which new daddy you’d like to have live with you. How preposterous. And TLC is already trying to spin it as Kate needing the money to support her kids. NO ONE needs several hundred thousand dollars a month to care for their kids. And I believe Jon is chipping in a tidy sum for their care.

But, go ahead Kate. We know it’s not just because you like the fame. Especially when you yourself admitted that you might like to try acting. Just keep those kids off camera, make sure they have a fantastic nanny that will give them unconditional love, and try and hold your temper and be respectful of them whenever you’re home.

It’s interesting to know these little facts about the show. As much as I know this show by heart, it was fun to watch it once again through the eyes of a 5 yr old who is seeing it for the first time. It was as delightful evening.

Why is it that TLC just can’t let her go? They can’t be such morons as not to realize that she’s history, and has been for some time. She’ s nothing witout the eight offspring in tow. Wannabes like that are a dime a dozen in the entertainment industry. What is she holding over their heads, and why can’t some amateur (or even professional) sleuths find out?

The eight kids are no longer being filmed and the divorce is final. Since Take has primary custody, – I wonder if Take herself has mended fences with Jodi and Kevin? I wonder if they are “allowed” to see the kids? I also wonder if Take’s sister, Clairissa (who had to choose between Take and their parents) is involved in the kids’ lives? And what about Kenton and Charlene? Some rag mag reported that Take went to visit them (alone) briefly on Thanksgiving. What must these kids lives be like now? No cameras, but I am sure nothing is normal for them. And, I’d love to know how much money Take has actually socked away from the divorce settlement. Can she pay for nannies and cooks and cleaning ladies for life?

Whatever the relationship, I’m thinking we might see Jamie hanging around more often and picking up part or all of the workload. Police in Eugene, Ore., say he is the same Josh Warner who appeared as a greenhorn deckhand on the king crab fishing boat Wizard in the “Deadliest Catch” earlier this year. The television reality show depicts the crab fishing industry in the treacherous Bering Sea near Alaska.

TLC seriously needs to rethink it’s name. It is a modern day freak show and while I can appreciate families wanting to bring their causes attention (ie: the Hayes and CP or the Duggars and their evangelism), I wish they would ALL boycott this channel for all the collective damage they are doing to so many children and families. Jon Gosselin, Hailey Glassman and their attorneys have plans to sit down and resolve their differences, but Hailey’s friend Damon Feldman has a different idea of how to settle things.

Celebrity boxing promoter Feldman told RadarOnline.com that he’s so furious at the way Jon treated Hailey he’s challenging Gosselin to a boxing match with a $120,000 purse.

“I have had enough of this guy – let’s see if he is man enough to step inside the ring with me,” Feldman told RadarOnline.com.

“Hailey is a sweet kid and this idiot won’t leave her alone but he better back off right now – I’m sure people would pay to see me beat him up inside the ring.”

More thoughts on this “story”. Hailey and Jon broke up in October – that is confirmed by both. So, the crap about Jon being jealous of Hailey kissing another guy holds no water. Michael Lohan Challenges Jon Gosselin To Boxing Match

Everybody wants a piece of Jon Gosselin….well, except his former wife Kate Gosselin, that is.

Jon’s ex-bff Michael Lohan is challenging the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star to a big money boxing match.

Lohan plans to publicly lay down the gauntlet on January 6 at a press conference where he’ll announce that he’s stepping into the ring against an actor named Derek Macintosh during Celebrity Boxing 16, scheduled for January 15 in Philadelphia.

Gosselin is also being challenged to box Damon Feldman. RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the boxing promoter is offering Gosselin the chance at a $120,000 purse to step into the ring with him. Feldman is furious at Gosselin for the way he’s treated Hailey Glassman.

The card will also feature two female competitors with the referee being….are you ready?….Jon Gosselin’s ex-flame Kate Major!

Why am I not surprised? Jon, here’s the correct answer…no comment. It’s the one answer that will make them look like the childish asses they are. This is a People.com article that was issued on July 23, 2009. It’s interesting to read back and see initially how the story unfolded. re: Jon and Kate Major. What does a dad of eight do when hitting the tony Hamptons? Hang out with a real housewife, of course.

Jon Gosselin and his increasingly frequent companion, tabloid reporter Kate Major, continued their high-profile visit to the Hamptons over dinner Wednesday with their host Michael Lohan and two other couples: Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin and husband Bobby Zarin, as well as Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and his wife, Marianne.

Despite the heavy socializing, “I miss my kids,” Gosselin told PEOPLE.

Asked if his houseguests were enjoying each other’s company, Lohan told PEOPLE, “Absolutely, they’re getting along very well.”

Said Major, “I love the Hamptons.”

Pressed for details about the relationship between Gosselin and Major – who claims she is dating the estranged father of eight – Lohan said, “They’re friends and they had to get away. Kate actually went to Pennsylvania to do an interview with Jon. I guess they became friends. And then he had to get out, and she had to get out. So they ran together.”

But Lohan, father of Lindsay Lohan, also noted that Gosselin is lonesome for his children. “He talks about them. He’s on the phone with them all the time,” said Lohan. “But unfortunately, as I well know, being a father in a divorce, it’s really hard on the kids. And you just want to be with them all the time. But sometimes our exes don’t make it that easy.”

The Dinner Date
Arriving at Southampton’s Red Bar at 8 p.m. and taking up a large, round table in a back corner of the quiet restaurant for the next 2½ hours, Gosselin wore his white shirttails out, while Major sported a revealingly low-cut leopard-print top. Throughout the meal, she stroked his arm and even stayed close to his side when they went outside for a smoke.

Still, according to Jill Zarin, “He didn’t seem smitten. They weren’t all over each other. But they’re definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him. But she’s young. This is a girl who is going to want to have babies. Does he really want to go out with another young girl and have kids?”

Zarin did add, “He seems like a great dad.”

The group congregated after Lohan, Gosselin and Major ran into Jill Zarin on the street late in the day Wednesday. The mayor is an old pal of Lohan’s and also happens to be executive director of Seafield, a rehab facility in Westhampton, where Lohan has been a patient, he tells PEOPLE

If you go back and watch the Youtube vid of when K8 was on the View co-hosting, which I did the other day, thought I was pulling up something else. Anyway, I’m surprised Whoopi didn’t ‘pick up’ on the ’story’ Kate gave as to why she was even at the house (when the cops got called). She KEPT telling the story of her ‘motherly’ intuition, numerous times, each time Whoopi kept jumping on her about going to the house when it wasn’t her wk. We all know it wasn’t ‘motherly intuition’ but her speaking w/the girls and finding out something (not sure what) that sent her back to the house instead of to the hotel. Lying phony!

Here’s the results of my little research project on Miss Kate Major. She graduated from Allentown (PA!!) Central Catholic High School in 2001 where she was selected as “super senior” for her volunteerism. She then went on to get her B.A. from Fairfield University in CT. Her family must have been from Chicago originally and moved around and now are back there. Kate’s accent confirms that for me – it is so strong “Chicago.” Also, she was an intern with the RedEye after college. So, for sure, there is a Chicago connection.

Dated Aug.5,03…Class action lawsuit has been filed against The Learning Channel’s reality show”Trauma: Life in the ER,” and Jersey Shore Medical center in Neptune, New Jersey.Apparently thousands of patients filmed since 1998 claimed that the producers and hospitals engaged in fraud to obtain the patients permission to film, and were lied to when they were told that the filming would be used for doctor training, when in reality it was “Free material for a shock cable t.v. reality show.” The suit is filed against TLC reality show, Trauma:Life in the ER, and Jersey Shore Medical Center claiming that they fraudulently obtained permission to film patients. Now if TLC or The Learning Channel was up to no good in 2003. I believe their using fradulant practices with the rest of the reality shows. Maybe that was the reason for the name change to just TLC.

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s eight children are no longer being taped by reality-show crews, but reports that they’re having a difficult time are making it into the press regardless.

The children’s former nanny Stephanie Santoro is the source of recent news about the kids. She told Life & Style that the children are confused by the divorce and truly miss having cameras around.

Cara, one of the couple’s 9-year-old twins, “used to sit and cry to me that she didn’t understand and thought (the divorce) was her fault,” Santoro told the magazine. “I would always tell her, ‘It’s not your fault, it’s just something that happened. Mommy and Daddy will tell you more.’ ”

Kate did not immediately remove her wedding ring, but when she did, the kids quickly noticed, according to Santoro. “The kids immediately asked, ‘Where’s your ring?’ So she replaced it with another one,” Santoro said.

The children are also coping with the loss of the “Jon & Kate Plus 8” crew. Filming stopped in early October when Jon posted “no trespassing” signs on the family’s property and demanded production be shut down. “Kate says the kids miss the crew,” said Santoro. “They grew up around them and loved interacting with the crew. I’m sure the kids are devastated.”
